How does telepsych assessment work?
Telepsych assessment involves conducting psychological evaluations remotely, without leaving the comfort of your home, using a secure and confidential virtal platform for accurate and convenient assessments.
Are you affiliated with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA)?
No, we are a private company dedicated to helping veterans and individuals. We are not contracted with or affialiated with the VA; however, our assessments can be used in VA disability claims. For more information reach out to your local VA.

What can I expect from a mental health evaluation?
Are diagnoses guaranteed?
Our evaluations are comprehensive with a thorough review of military and/or medical records. We conduct interviews that range from 30-90 minutes to provide supplemental information to the evaluation. Based on information collected, we provide diagnoses as warranted based on DSM-5-TR clinical criteria.
What information will I receive from my evaluation?
Depending on your specific needs:
- Each individual will receive a feedback session and a completed psychological evaluation report. We can also provide this report to others as you request.
- Each veteran will receive a completed DBQ (disability benefits questionnaire), Nexus letter (independent medical opinion), and/or Evaluation Summary report after each completed evaluation.
How long does it take to receive my completed evaluation?
Depending on your specific needs:
- Diagnostic Clarification Evaluations cannot be completed until all requested information has been submitted. After this, the interview and testing have been conducted, you will recieve your completed psychological evaluation report within two weeks of our provider having received all information needed.
- Pre-Surgical Psychological Evaluations cannot be completed until all requested information has been submitted. After this, the interview and testing have been conducted, you and your surgeon will recieve your completed psychological evaluation report within 48-hours of our provider having received all information needed.
- Veteran Evaluations cannot be completed until all requested information has been submitted. After this, the interview has been conducted and each veteran will recieve their completed material within 48 business hours of the interview date.
- In-Person Psychologial Evaluations will vary depending on the nature of the evaluation, please contact us for more information.
What can I expect to pay for your services?
We provide a flat fee for each service we offer and there are no hidden additional charges. All services require a $100 scheduling fee that is deducted from your total cost (if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will forfit this amount).
- Diagnostic Clarification Evaluations are a total cost of $2500. This is accompished via $100 at the time of scheduling; $1250 on the day of the interview/testing; and the final payment of $1150 on the day of feedback).
- Pre-Surgical Psychological Evaluations are a total cost of $1200. This is accompished via $100 at the time of scheduling; $600 on the day of the interview/testing; and the final payment of $500 on the day of feedback/day report is sent).
- For Veteran Services:The Mental Health Evaluation service is two payments of $750 each. The DBQ and/or Nexus Letter service is one payment of $1200. The Rebuttal Letter service is one payment of $300.
- In-Person Psychological Evaluations costs vary. Neuropsychological evaluations are a total cost of $3500. Autism Spectrum Diagnostic Evaluationds are a total cost of $2500. Forensic Evaluations are provided at $300/hour.

Do you practice in my state?
A&N Telepsych Assessment Associates is based out of southwest Missouri in the United States; however, we hold the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) and are able to currently offer our services in 42 participating states.
